This is because AKP153 only supports Chinese. You can request customers to replace their devices with AKP153E, It's the same physical device you're using now that needs to be changed to a 153E model and the software backend re-downloaded

It is unwise decision to create 3 different versions of the same hardware and to make them incompatible one with another by changing locking their use through the software. Especially for a product that is trying to compete with much larger eco system.

These products are designed for different regions and countries, but the functionality and ecology of each program is interoperable.

The main issue is that many sellers sold akp153 without a mention that there is akp153e, or akp153r, or the removal of other languages and translations from the list in software (though they remain in software folder). So whoever bought the device in first wave when it got out is stuck with the akp153, which is software locked to single language.

You can ask the merchant or find relevant links for similar products. The AKP153 currently only supports Chinese
